In the table at the bottom of the page you'll find the average sizes of harnesses we've already made. This table serves as a guideline for measuring your dog. For most dogs these sizes are okay but we strongly recommend to measure your dog just to make sure the harness will fit properly. You can fill out your dog's sizes when ordering a harness.
Chest size (=Borstomvang)
To know your dog's chest size, you measure around your dog's chest at the widest point. The chest strap is always adjustable.
Front chest size (=Borst voor)
Measure from the purple chest strap on one side, over the breastbone, to the purple chest strap on the other side. Always make sure that your measurement includes 2 to 3 fingers behind each front leg. The front chest strap is not adjustable so don't measure too tight!
Back length (=Ruglengte)
Measure from the green front chest strap over the shoulders to the green front chest strap on the other side.
Tips:
-Make sure your dog is standing up while measuring
-It's easier to have a second person helping you. One person can keep the dog calm and give treats while the other person measures the dog
-When your dog is difficult to measure, make sure you take the measurements a couple of times
