This martingale collar is custom made for your dog.
The collar is made from strong, UV resistant polypropylene webbing and can be padded with high quality fleece, neoprene or air mesh. We use stainless steel rings.
The martingale collar was originally designed for dogs whose neck is wider than their head, such as greyhounds, but nowadays the martingale collar is also used for all kinds of dogs. For example for fearful dogs who can wriggle out of a normal collar when they start panicking.
The martingale consists of a big and a small loop. The big loop goes over the head and around the neck and you attach the lead to the D-ring of the small loop. When the martingale fits correctly, there should be a couple of centimeters between the D-rings of the big loop when the collar is pulled tight so it is nearly impossible for your dog to escape. When the collar is not pulled thight it just rests loosely around the neck.
Choosing a padding for your collar will add approximately 0,5cm to the width that was chosen by you.
We can also embroider your dog's name on the collar.
You'll see the available colours when you look through the pictures. Webbing colours 'Camouflage khaki/beige/black', 'Camouflage pink/purple/silver' and 'paws orange/brown' are not available for this collar size.
This collar can be washed at 30 degrees. Do not tumble dry.
